District Vets
Doreen District Vets was founded by Louise and Kirstie, two highly passionate and experienced professionals who share a deep love for animals. They first met in 2018 when they worked together in a small and cramped clinic in inner Melbourne. Despite the limitations of the space, they managed to create a warm and stress-free environment that made both pets and owners feel at ease. They realised that there was a need for a quality veterinary service in the northern suburbs and decided to bring their expertise and compassion to Doreen. Today, Doreen District Vets offers a comprehensive range of veterinary services for all animals, including exotic pets. They are committed to providing a fun, friendly, and relaxed environment that prioritises the well-being of both pets and their owners.

Dr Louise and Kirstie are amazing! Their expertise, knowledge and friendly calming approach put my very anxious dog Kobe and I at ease. Having them visit at home made the process so much nicer and easier in so many ways. They took their time assessing Kobe with so much kindness, and explained everything to me with so much compassion. Dr Louise and Kirstie deliver a 10/10 service – which is also very affordable. I highly recommend them and I wouldn’t trust anybody else to care for my aging dog.
Lisa Jane
Very grateful! Thank you to Dr Louise and Kirstie, you two are amazing, the treatment today made me confident about my decision to continue with your services and great care. My worrying do was handled with patience and understanding! I have a pretty anxious and nervy dog so I 100% recommend these 2 if you have the same concerns with your cats and or dogs. You guys are calm and comforting which made me feel the same as I worried about my dog and how he would go. Nothing was rushed or done without hesitation despite the concerning information I gave you two. You took your time to gain the trust of my baby and before proceeding with any exam and or vaccination, you both ensured me everything will be fine. Definitely affordable for me, very punctual and awesome personalities! Love you guys! Definitely my new go to for care and or anything regarding my dog!!
